About the Program
The educational program at the
Youth Justice Center was developed in cooperation with the Juvenile Court
System in 1993. The educational program offers young people, temporarily
incarcerated at the Detention Center, the opportunity to continue the
educational process begun in their home school districts. Through this
program, the student detainees will also transition back into their home
districts upon release from the Detention Center. Working in cooperation
with regular and special education teachers, as well as counselors in the school
districts, the Pinal County Secure Care Programs assist the student detainees to
get back on track. |
