Mission Statement

Our mission here at TEACH is to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable atmosphere for children with disabilities and at risk youth so they may receive the maximum benefits of recreational therapy using equines.

About the Program

TEACH was founded in1997 by Dr. Jack Harmon (Pinal County Schools Superintendent).  TEACH operates out of a small facility west of the Villa Oasis High School on Toltec Road. The equines and the majority of the equipment used at the program have been donated. Along with a small staff, volunteers from the Villa Oasis High School and surrounding community have helped this program grow.

Teach currently serves approximately 90 children with special needs from all over Pinal County and has a waiting list.

If you would like more information or would just like to inquire about the TEACH program please feel free to contact us.
